Allows corporate name reservations to be renewable once for an additional 180-day period if applicant files renewal application within 30 days before initial period expires, replacing the previous non-renewable 180-day reservation period.

Prohibits reservation of the name "In God We Trust," which is reserved to the people of the State of Mississippi as a symbol thereof.

Establishes uniform $25.00 fee for reservation, transfer, and cancellation of corporate names across business corporations, nonprofit corporations, limited partnerships, and limited liability companies.

Repeals Sections 79-4-4.03 and 79-11-161, which previously provided for registration of corporate names for business and nonprofit corporations.

Takes effect July 1, 2014.
