Prohibits persons engaged in retail sales of beer or light wine from having any direct or indirect interest in the license, business, assets, or corporate stock of wholesalers, distributors, or manufacturers of beer or light wine, with an exception for publicly traded stock.

Applies to retail sellers, owners, shareholders, officers, directors, and any affiliated entities of beer or light wine retailers regardless of whether the affiliation is corporate, by management, direction, or control.

Prohibits retail beer and light wine sellers and their affiliated persons from making any loans, directly or indirectly, to wholesalers, distributors, or manufacturers of beer or light wine.

Takes effect July 1, 2014.
