Amends Section 49-19-3 of Mississippi Code to revise powers and duties of Mississippi Forestry Commission Law Enforcement Officers regarding woods arson enforcement.

Authorizes six appointed law enforcement officers to investigate and make arrests with or without warrant for violations of state law or commission regulations related to woods arson.

Grants officers authority to enter any lands to construct firebreaks if necessary to prevent fire spread and to investigate fire causes without liability for trespass or damage.

Officers may issue citations for reckless or grossly negligent conduct causing fire to burn another's lands; evidence includes failure to take reasonable precautions when burning brush or debris piles.

Extends the repealer date for these law enforcement powers and duties from June 30, 2014 to June 30, 2018.
