MS SB2671

Authorizes the Mississippi Real Estate Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board to establish standards for measuring residential properties up to four-family buildings based on American National Standards Institute or American Measurement Standard Manual guidelines.

Requires appraisals using these standards to indicate on the appraisal document or separately appended document which standard was used.

Grants the board authority to conduct surveys as necessary.

Effective date: July 1, 2014.
