Replaces the former 5 cents per mile reimbursement with mileage rates authorized under Section 25-3-41

Eliminates the previous $1.00 per day cap for witnesses in justice of the peace cases, now aligning their compensation with other courts

Maintains prohibition on witness fees for police officers testifying in city cases for cities with populations over 10,000

Effective date of July 1, 2014
