Amends Section 75-57-13 of Mississippi Code to clarify that Section 53-3-155 applies to permits for creating and using underground storage spaces for gases in salt bed cavities.

Permits storage of compressed air, liquefied compressed gases, refined hydrocarbons, oil, gas, butane, and propane in artificially formed underground storage spaces dissolved in salt beds.

Maintains Mississippi State Oil and Gas Board jurisdiction over safety of underground storage and associated wellhead facilities, while State Liquefied Compressed Gas Board handles above-ground transmission and storage safety standards.

Takes effect July 1, 2014.
