Authorizes an annual income tax credit of $500 for taxpayers who employ persons under community corrections supervision or discharged from Department of Corrections custody.

Credit is available for five consecutive years per qualifying employee.

Employee must be employed for at least six consecutive months during the taxable year and work an average of at least 30 hours per week to qualify.

Tax credit cannot exceed the taxpayer's total tax liability for the year, reduced by all other allowable credits except tax payments already made.

Effective January 1, 2014.
