Authorizes the City of Senatobia governing authorities to levy a tax of up to 2% on gross proceeds of restaurant sales and up to 2% on gross room rental sales from hotels and motels with six or more guest rooms.

Tax revenues must be used exclusively for improving parks and recreation facilities for tourism and economic development purposes within the city.

Requires approval by referendum election with at least 60% of qualified city electors voting in favor before the tax can be imposed.

Mandates the Department of Revenue collect and distribute tax revenue to the city by the 15th of each month following collection, with separate accounting and annual independent audit required.

Sunsets on July 1, 2017, unless extended by further legislation.
