Recognizes and congratulates Ridgeland Mayor Gene McGee on his election to the National League of Cities Board of Directors at the Congress of Cities and Exposition held November 13-16, 2013, in Seattle, Washington.

Mayor McGee will serve a two-year term on the NLC board of directors and previously served as Vice Chair of the Public Safety and Crime Prevention Committee of the National League of Cities for 2013.

Acknowledges that Mayor McGee is the only representative from Mississippi serving in the leadership of the National League of Cities, an organization dedicated to helping city leaders build better communities.

Directs that the resolution be presented to Mayor McGee, forwarded to the Ridgeland Board of Aldermen, and made available to the Capitol Press Corps.
