Recognizes the Millsaps "Majors" football team for completing the 2013 season with a 9-1 record and winning their second consecutive Southern Athletic Association (SAA) title.

Honors defensive end Zach Bell as SAA Conference Player of the Year for recording 12 sacks and 19.5 tackles for loss, and naming him a Cliff Harris Award finalist for small school defensive player of the year.

Congratulates running back Mike Barthelemy for winning the C-Spire Conerly Trophy with 500 votes and 33% of ballots, rushing for nearly 1,400 yards and a school-record 21 rushing touchdowns.

Acknowledges special teams player of the year Beau Brady for 10 successful field goals and 66 points scored, and Coach Aaron Pelch for his second consecutive Conference Coach of the Year award.

Directs that the resolution be presented to Coach Pelch and Millsaps President Dr. Robert Pearigen and made available to the Capitol Press Corps.
