Recognizes Mrs. Pat S. McInnis for 31 years of service to Wayne Academy in Waynesboro, Mississippi upon her retirement.

Mrs. McInnis served as English Teacher/Headmistress starting in 1970 when Wayne Academy was founded and remained a constant presence as the school grew, serving multiple roles including teacher, advisor, counselor, and supporter of student athletics.

Mrs. McInnis earned induction into the Star Teacher Hall of Fame (selected more than the required 10 times), was named Waynesboro Chamber of Commerce Educator of the Year, and served as President of the Mississippi Private Education Association.

Wayne Academy named its library the "Pat S. McInnis Library" in 2001 in her honor; she holds a Master's Degree from the University of Southern Mississippi.

Resolution extends best wishes to Mrs. McInnis and her family on her retirement and directs that copies be presented to her, Wayne Academy's Board of Directors, and the Capitol Press Corps.
