Madison Central High School's girls soccer team won the MHSAA 6A State Championship on February 7, 2014, defeating Brandon 2-0 at Arrow Field under Head Coach Cecil Hinds.

The Lady Jaguars finished the 2013-2014 season with a record of 22 wins, 2 losses, and 2 ties, including 12 consecutive wins, ranking No. 1 in the state and No. 8 nationally in MaxPreps' rankings.

The team scored 99 goals during the season with Senior McKenzie Adams leading with 15 goals and 13 assists, while Senior goalie Rachel Ashworth recorded 21 shutouts and made 68 saves while allowing only five goals.

The resolution commends and congratulates the 2013-2014 Madison Central Lady Jaguars soccer team, Head Coach Cecil Hinds, players, coaches, and parents for bringing honor to their school, community, and the State of Mississippi.
