Commends and congratulates the 2013 Lake Cormorant High School "Lady Gators" Girls Volleyball Team for winning their second consecutive MHSAA Class II State Championship with a 26-11 season record.

Team defeated East Central 25-19, 25-12, 25-20 in the championship match held in November 2013 at Mississippi College in Clinton.

Coach Christina Morgan's third state championship title overall with Lake Cormorant, which won championships in 2009, 2012, and 2013.

Lists 13-member roster including players such as Jasmine Starks, Reaghan McDonald, Alex Lewis, Rachel Baker, and others.

Notes that DeSoto County schools have won 15 state volleyball championships since 1995, with Southaven and Lake Cormorant both winning state titles in 2013.
