Recognizes Stephen C. Reynolds for his 44 years of service as President and CEO of Baptist Memorial Health Care upon his retirement in May 2014.

Credits Reynolds with growing Baptist Memorial into the Memphis area's largest not-for-profit health care system, overseeing 14 hospitals across Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas with numerous affiliated facilities.

Highlights Reynolds' major accomplishments including establishing Baptist Medical Group (550 physicians), building two metro-Memphis hospitals including a women's hospital, establishing Baptist College of Health Sciences (1,000+ graduates), and creating the Operation Outreach Mobile Health Care Clinic for the Homeless.

Notes Baptist Memorial's significant community impact, including $229 million in community benefits in 2012, $2.6 billion total economic impact to the region, and a $80 million property donation to the University of Tennessee and Memphis Bioworks Foundation.
