Commends and congratulates the Madison-Ridgeland Academy "Patriots" boys basketball team and Coach Richard Duease for winning the 2014 MAIS Overall State Championship, the team's ninth overall title and first since 2001.

Team defeated Jackson Prep 57-47 on March 1, 2014, at Mississippi College's A.E. Wood Coliseum with Ben Milam posting 15 points and 12 rebounds and Devin Gilmore contributing a double-double.

Recognizes Coach Richard Duease's leadership in leading seven overall championships in the last 10 years.

Lists 22 student-athletes on the 2013-2014 roster along with coaching staff including Head Coach Richard Duease and assistant coaches Brandon Bolen and Kevin Moses.

Directs presentation of the resolution to Coach Duease, Principal Greg Self, the Madison-Ridgeland Academy Board of Trustees, and the Capitol Press Corps.
