Recognizes and congratulates K.J. Wright, No. 50 of the Seattle Seahawks, for his exceptional play in Super Bowl XLVIII on February 2, 2014, where he made seven tackles.

Honors Wright's high school career at Olive Branch High School, where he recorded 91 total tackles (48 solo) as a senior and was named First-Team All-State on the defensive line.

Acknowledges Wright's college career at Mississippi State, where he played linebacker and was promoted to starter as an outside linebacker during his sophomore season.

Notes Wright was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the fourth round of the 2011 NFL draft and became a playmaker as a middle linebacker for the team.

Declares February 2, 2014, as "K.J. Wright Day" in celebration of his Super Bowl victory and requests the resolution be presented to Wright and made available to the Capitol Press Corps.
