Honors Emile L. "Junior" Desporte, Jr., who passed away on March 30, 2014, at age 87 while still working six days a week at Desporte & Sons Seafood Market and Deli in Biloxi.

Recognizes Desporte's family legacy spanning five generations in the seafood business, which evolved from wholesale operations founded by his father in the late 1800s to retail and food supply for coastal hotels.

Commends Desporte's customer service philosophy of treating customers like family and his status as a respected community figure on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Directs presentation of the resolution to Desporte's surviving family, the Mayor and Council of the City of Biloxi, and the Capitol Press Corps.
