Requires all health insurance policies and employee benefit plans in Mississippi to reimburse the state's academic medical center (including its hospitals, clinics, and satellite locations) at a rate equal to the highest amount paid to any other in-state contracting entity

Prohibits health insurance policies from penalizing or precluding members from using services at the state academic medical center, regardless of contract status

Mandates that services unique to the academic medical center (not available at other in-state facilities) be reimbursed at the highest rate paid to out-of-state entities within the region (Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Tennessee)

Requires services not available anywhere in the region to be reimbursed at the highest rate paid to any national out-of-state contracting entity

Effective date of July 1, 2015
