Reenacts three repealed sections (27-19-60, 27-19-65, and 27-19-90) of Mississippi Code relating to commercial motor vehicle registration and licensing authority granted to the Department of Revenue.

Authorizes the commission to deny or revoke registration and licensing for commercial motor vehicles operated by persons prohibited by federal or state motor carrier safety agencies.

Requires persons registering commercial motor vehicles to provide safety responsibility evidence, Motor Carrier Identification Report (Form MCS-150), USDOT number, and Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN).

Establishes penalties including fines up to $1,000 and six months jail for first offense, and up to $2,000 and one year jail for subsequent offenses for making false statements on commercial motor vehicle registration applications to circumvent federal or state prohibitions.

Sets the reenacted sections to automatically expire on July 1, 2016, with the act taking effect July 1, 2015.
