Amends Mississippi Code Section 63-3-519 to authorize county sheriffs to use radar speed detection equipment upon approval by the board of supervisors.

Permits sheriffs to use radar equipment only on public roads, streets, or highways under county board of supervisors jurisdiction for maintenance and construction, and located outside incorporated municipality limits.

Clarifies that municipal law enforcement in cities with population of 2,000 or more can use radar within municipality limits, and cities with 15,000+ population can use radar on federal highways within corporate limits.

Requires Mississippi Highway Safety Patrol to refrain from setting up radar within municipalities having a population exceeding 15,000 according to the latest federal decennial census.

Takes effect July 1, 2015.
