Amends Section 39-5-71 of the Mississippi Code to allow the Law Enforcement Officers Monument Fund to be used for construction and maintenance of a life-size bronze statue of St. Michael at the fallen officer's memorial location.

The statue will be located at the monument in or near Jackson that bears the names of state, county, municipal, and federal law enforcement officers who died in the performance of their duties.

Funds in the Law Enforcement Officers Monument Fund, created to accept gifts, grants, and donations, may now be used for fund-raising activities, monument erection and maintenance, and the new statue project.

Any remaining unexpended or unencumbered funds upon completion of the monument shall revert to the Board on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Training for ongoing monument maintenance.
