Authorizes Mississippi motor vehicle owners who are state residents to purchase distinctive license tags identifying them as supporters of the Long Beach School District upon payment of an additional $30 fee annually.

County tax collectors retain $2.00 per application fee for deposit into the county general fund, with the remaining fee remitted monthly to the Department of Revenue.

From each $30 fee collected, distributions are: $24 to Long Beach School District, $1 to Mississippi Burn Care Fund, $2 to State Highway Fund, and $1 to the special fund created in Section 27-19-44.2.

Replacement tags for lost or stolen distinctive tags cost $10, with the tax collector retaining 5% for the county general fund and the remainder distributed according to the standard fee distribution formula.

Effective July 1, 2015.
