Moves the retail sales tax exemption for clothing and footwear (under $100) from the last weekend in July to the first weekend in August, and extends the exemption to school supplies under $100.

Adds a comprehensive list of 41 specific school supply items eligible for the tax exemption, including backpacks, notebooks, pencils, calculators, art supplies, and textbooks.

Expands the definition of "ammunition" under the Mississippi Second Amendment Weekend holiday (first Friday through Sunday in September) to include reloading equipment and supplies in addition to firearms and hunting supplies.

Allows municipalities to suspend the clothing and school supplies tax exemption within their corporate limits by adopting and filing a resolution with the Department of Revenue at least 90 days in advance.

Effective date: July 1, 2015.
