Amends Section 9-23-15 of the Mississippi Code to allow individuals with prior burglary of a dwelling convictions (under Section 97-17-23(1)) to participate in drug court, creating an exception to the general crimes of violence bar.

Prohibits current charges of burglary of a dwelling under Section 97-17-23(2) or 97-17-37 from participating in drug court.

Maintains existing disqualifications including trafficking in controlled substances convictions, pending violent crime charges, and DUI charges resulting in death.

Establishes that participants may be required to undergo chemical testing with costs borne by the participant, though judges may waive fees if testing is available from other sources.

Takes effect July 1, 2015.
