Authorizes the parole board or court to order posting of a bond as a condition of parole or early release to secure a defendant's appearance at subsequent parole or court proceedings.

Requires the parole board, court, or clerk to give bail agents a minimum of 72 hours notice to produce the defendant in court; failure to produce results in bond forfeiture under existing procedures.

Specifies that a defendant's failure to appear is the sole grounds for forfeiture of an appearance bond posted for parole or early release.

Amends Section 47-7-17 to explicitly authorize the parole board to require posting of bond as a condition of any parole or early release.

Effective date: July 1, 2015.
