Amends Mississippi Code Section 11-7-13 to clarify that a cause of action for wrongful death includes an unborn child, in addition to any person.

Allows wrongful death actions to be brought by the personal representative, widow, husband, parent, sibling, or child of a deceased person or unborn child.

Permits recovery of damages including property damage, funeral expenses, medical expenses, and other related costs, plus additional damages as determined by the jury.

Establishes distribution of damages to surviving spouses, children, parents, siblings, or legal representatives based on the deceased's family relationships.

Takes effect July 1, 2015.
