Repeals Section 15-1-13 of the Mississippi Code of 1972, which allowed individuals to gain legal title to land through ten years of adverse possession (squatter's rights)

Eliminates the legal mechanism by which continuous, open, and hostile occupation of another's property for a decade could result in ownership transfer

Effective date of July 1, 2015
