Deletes sunset clauses (repealers) from sections 41-58-1, 41-58-3, and 41-58-5 of the Mississippi Code that were set to expire on July 1, 2015 and 2018, making the medical radiation technologist registration requirements permanent.

Maintains the Medical Radiation Advisory Council consisting of nine members including radiologists, physicians, radiologic technologists, nuclear medicine technologists, radiation therapists, a radiation physicist, and a hospital administrator to advise the Mississippi State Department of Health.

Requires radiologic technologists, nuclear medicine technologists, and radiation therapists to obtain valid registration from the department; permits temporary registration for applicants awaiting national certification exams.

Establishes continuing education requirements: 24 hours every two years for registered technologists, 12 hours every two years for limited x-ray machine operators and chiropractic assistants, with at least six hours focused on radiation protection.

Sets registration fees at no more than $50 biennially and exempts certain groups from registration including students in accredited programs, dental and chiropractic personnel with separate permits, and laboratory personnel using radiopharmaceuticals for in vitro studies.
