Extends the repeal date from July 1, 2015 to July 1, 2018 for sections 41-58-1, 41-58-3, and 41-58-5 of the Mississippi Code governing registration of medical radiation technologists.

Maintains registration requirements for radiologic technologists, nuclear medicine technologists, and radiation therapists, with a biennial registration fee not to exceed $50.

Requires 24 hours of continuing education every two years for registered technologists and 12 hours for limited x-ray machine operators and certain exempt individuals, with at least 6 hours in radiation protection.

Establishes a Medical Radiation Advisory Council with 9 members including radiologists, physicians, technologists, and other radiation professionals to advise the state health department on regulations and standards.

Takes effect July 1, 2015.
