Authorizes issuance of $5,000,000 in state general obligation bonds to fund the Mississippi Community Heritage Preservation Grant Fund, with bonds to be issued before July 1, 2019 and maturing within 25 years

Increases grant allocation to the City of Columbus from $475,000 to $1,375,000 for repair, renovation, and restoration of Columbus City Hall and related facilities

Allocates $500,000 in new grant funds to Wayne County for repair, renovation, and restoration of the Wayne County Courthouse

Raises the total allocation for historic preservation grants to counties, municipalities, school districts, and nonprofits from $32,700,000 to $36,300,000

Bonds are tax-exempt general obligations of the State of Mississippi, backed by the full faith and credit of the state
