Increases annual salary for school board members from $2,400.00 to $9,600.00 per year.

Removes the option for board members to receive per diem of $67.00 per meeting for up to 36 meetings annually.

Clarifies that reimbursement for necessary expenses and mileage is in addition to the annual salary.

Requires school board members who miss 20% or more of meetings in a calendar year (except for military duty) to reimburse the district a proportionate amount of their salary.

Effective date is July 1, 2015.
