Authorizes persons with diabetes who hold a commercial driver's license to be examined by a board certified-advanced diabetes management nurse practitioner in addition to an endocrinologist to verify fitness to drive.

Requires diabetic commercial drivers to undergo annual physical examinations attesting they are free of severe insulin reactions, can properly manage their diabetes, and are unlikely to experience diminished driving ability.

Mandates diabetic drivers carry rapidly absorbable glucose at all times while driving and self-monitor blood glucose levels one hour before driving and at least once every four hours while driving using a portable glucose monitoring device.

Requires diabetic drivers to submit blood glucose logs to their healthcare provider at annual examinations, provide copies of medical reports to the medical examiner, and maintain certification copies while driving for presentation to law enforcement.

Restricts commercial licenses issued under this provision to driving only within Mississippi state boundaries and takes effect July 1, 2015.
