Imposes an annual tax of $150.00 on electric vehicles, defined as vehicles powered solely by electric motors and required to be licensed for public road use.

Tax is collected by county tax collectors at the same time and in the same manner as the annual highway privilege tax.

Tax collector retains $2.00 per tax collected for county general fund, with remaining proceeds remitted to Department of Revenue.

Department of Revenue apportions tax revenue among the same purposes as gasoline and diesel fuel taxes based on the previous fiscal year's apportionment proportions.

Effective date is July 1, 2015.
