Adds a new category (paragraph 28) to Mississippi Medicaid eligibility for individuals under 65 years of age who are not pregnant, not entitled to Medicare Part A or B, and whose income does not exceed 133% of the federal poverty level.

Eligible individuals under the new category shall receive benchmark coverage or benchmark equivalent coverage as described in Section 1937 of the federal Social Security Act, as amended.

Eligibility determinations for individuals under the new category shall be made by the Division of Medicaid.

The expansion implements provisions authorized under the federal Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.

The act takes effect July 1, 2015.
