Prohibits law enforcement from using radar speed detection equipment within 1,000 feet of any point on state or federal highways where a sign indicates the speed limit is reduced by 10 or more miles per hour

Maintains existing restriction that only the Mississippi Highway Safety Patrol may use radar on public roads, with exceptions for municipal police in cities with 2,000+ population and campus police at colleges with 2,000+ students

Allows municipal police in cities over 15,000 population to use radar on federal highways within city limits

Prohibits the Mississippi Highway Safety Patrol from setting up radar on highways within municipalities exceeding 15,000 population

Effective date of July 1, 2015
