Requires the State Department of Education to establish a compressed natural gas school bus grant pilot program providing $180,000 per participating school district.

Limits pilot program to one school district selected from each of Mississippi's four congressional districts through an application process.

Each selected district receives grant funds to purchase four school buses fueled with compressed natural gas and related fueling infrastructure.

Mandates the State Board of Education to regularly evaluate the pilot program, including analysis of fuel costs and savings from compressed natural gas buses.

Requires the State Board of Education to report to the Legislature during the 2018 Regular Session on whether to expand the assistance program statewide.
