Amends Section 63-11-5 of the Mississippi Code to clarify that an "authorized officer" may administer DUI tests, replacing a lengthy list of specific officer types with a defined term.

Defines "authorized officer" as highway patrol officers, sheriffs and deputies, municipal police officers, national park rangers, campus police officers (for on-campus violations), and Pearl River Valley Water Supply District security officers (for district violations).

Maintains existing requirement that officers administering tests must have completed educational and training requirements prescribed by the Board on Law Enforcement Officers Standards and Training, with exemptions for sheriffs and elected chiefs of police.

Preserves the 15-minute waiting period before administering tests after a person consumes any substance by mouth.

Takes effect July 1, 2015.
