Adds drug or alcohol treatment and rehabilitation facilities to the list of protected locations where enhanced penalties apply for selling or distributing controlled substances

Maintains the existing 1,500-foot buffer zone around protected buildings and 1,000-foot zone around the real property of protected facilities

First-time offenders selling drugs near protected facilities may receive up to twice the standard imprisonment term and/or fines under Section 41-29-139(b)

Repeat offenders with a prior conviction under this section face 3 years to life imprisonment and up to triple the standard penalties
