Adds leaving a child alone in a locked motor vehicle where the child cannot exit without adult assistance to the definition of felonious child abuse under Section 97-5-39, if the child's safety appears to be in imminent danger from heat, cold, lack of ventilation, or other circumstances.

Authorizes law enforcement officers to rescue children from motor vehicles if the child's safety appears to be in imminent danger from heat, cold, lack of adequate ventilation, or other circumstances.

Adds leaving a child alone in a locked motor vehicle where the child cannot exit without adult assistance to the definition of a neglected child under Section 43-21-105.

Effective July 1, 2015.
