Requires Mississippi municipalities to provide pre-disciplinary hearings for law enforcement officers facing suspension or termination.

Officers must receive written notice explaining reasons for discipline, with right to request hearing within 5 days; hearing rights include legal representation at officer's expense, right to speak, present evidence, and question witnesses.

Hearing may be conducted in executive session for evidentiary phase, but final adjudication must occur in open session before an impartial hearing officer or body.

Exempts municipalities with civil service commissions or existing due process ordinances meeting or exceeding these requirements.

Takes effect January 1, 2015; rules of evidence and discovery do not apply to hearings under this act.
