Amends Section 33-7-311 of Mississippi Code to extend civil and criminal immunity to National Guard members serving in federally funded duty status during declared emergencies under the Mississippi Emergency Management Law.

Expands immunity to cover both acts and omissions performed during military duty, and clarifies the state will pay all defense costs including attorney's fees, witness fees, court costs, and appeal transcripts from the Military Fund.

Designates the Attorney General to conduct defense in civil cases and requires the Adjutant General to appoint a judge advocate or competent attorney for criminal cases, with compensation paid from the Military Fund.

Allows defendants to require prosecutors to post security for costs, permits venue changes to the defendant's home county, and grants severance rights when multiple militia members are sued together.

Effective July 1, 2015.
