Authorizes courts to impose investigation cost assessments against defendants convicted of Class I wildlife violations punishable under Section 49-7-141, in addition to existing felony violation assessments

Adds the Mississippi Agricultural and Livestock Theft Bureau and the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks to the list of agencies that can recoup investigation costs from convicted defendants

Recoverable costs include investigators, service of process, court reporters, expert witnesses, attorney's fees, and transportation expenses incurred during investigations

Collected funds must augment the receiving agency's existing budget rather than replace regular funding

Effective date: July 1, 2015
