Requires driver's licenses and identification cards to display "PDD" designation for applicants with pervasive developmental disorder, upon presentation of a letter from a licensed physician or psychologist.

Mandates the Board on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Training to require at least 6 hours of mental health and behavioral training in initial law enforcement certification programs and at least 1 hour in continuing education programs.

Training must teach officers to recognize behavioral characteristics of autism, Asperger's syndrome, and other mental or medical conditions that may appear atypical or suspicious to untrained persons.

Effective July 1, 2015.
