Commends William Clancy Denny IV for his outstanding career as long snapper for the University of Mississippi Rebels football team from 2011 through 2014, playing in all 51 games over four years.

Recognizes Denny's achievements including earning three letters, being one of 17 freshmen nationally to start at long snapper in 2011, earning a scholarship in 2012 after initial walk-on status, and serving as team captain during his senior year.

Notes Denny's senior season accomplishments including the team's 9-4 record, number one seed ranking for most of the season, victory over Mississippi State (31-17), and participation in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl.

Acknowledges Denny's academic excellence, including making the Chancellor's Honor Roll in fall 2010 and graduating with a bachelor of science degree in marketing.

Directs copies of the resolution be furnished to William Clancy Denny IV and Capitol Press Corps members.
