Recognizes the studio's offerings including ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary jazz, broadway dance, hip-hop, lyrical, and tumbling classes for preschool children ages two and up.

Acknowledges the Mélange Dance Company of Jackson County, founded in 1977 by Paul and Jo Ann Christopher, which has performed the Nutcracker Ballet for over 12,000 school children and promotes cultural enrichment through outreach programs.

Notes that the studio has served tens of thousands of children over 55 years with state-of-the-art facilities and dedicated instructors while emphasizing equality and childhood memories over competition.

Directs copies of the resolution be furnished to the Studio of Dance and Gymnastics, Jo Ann Christopher, and the Capitol Press Corps.
