Urges all schools and state and local educational agencies to recognize the significant educational implications of dyslexia and address learning needs and services for affected students.

Establishes that dyslexia affects one out of five individuals, is persistent, and impacts speaking, reading, spelling, and language learning despite normal intelligence.

Notes that dyslexia often presents as a paradox, with individuals having reading difficulties alongside strengths in reasoning, critical thinking, concept formation, and problem-solving.

Directs the State Department of Education to distribute the resolution to every school district in Mississippi, the International Dyslexia Association, and the Capitol Press Corps.
