Commends Mr. Louwill E. Davis, III, on his retirement as Mississippi's Corrections Auditor effective December 31, 2014, after more than twenty-one years of service beginning in 1994.

Recognizes Davis's background including four years with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, twenty years with the Jackson Police Department retiring as Deputy Chief of Professional Standards, and education degrees from American University and Jackson State University.

Acknowledges Davis's duties as Corrections Auditor including monitoring inventory at correctional institutions, attending Department of Corrections bid openings, inspecting facilities for health and safety concerns, and issuing monthly reports to the Legislative Budget Office and legislative leadership.

Credits Davis with facilitating assistance on multiple PEER Committee investigative projects and reports related to parole, medical care, commissary services, and community services within the Department of Corrections.

Directs that copies of the resolution be furnished to Mr. Davis and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
