Commends the Hinds Community College 2014 Eagle Baseball Team for winning the NJCAA 2014 Region XXIII title and finishing as runners-up at the MACJC 2014 State Championship, ending as the No. 2 community college baseball team in the nation.

Recognizes the team won 40 games during the 2014 regular season, tying a Hinds Community College record, and is currently ranked No. 2 in NJCAA preseason polls and No. 1 in the South Region.

Honors Head Coach Sam Temple and Assistant Coaches Dan Rives, Chad Bradford, and Tim Axton for their coaching excellence and sportsmanship.

Highlights individual achievements including Marshall Boggs receiving the Marucci Elite Hitting Award for breaking the College World Series hits record, four players named to the World Series All-Tournament Team, and 11 athletes inducted into Phi Theta Kappa honor society.

Notes the Eagles baseball program has produced over 90 players signed to four-year colleges in nine seasons, including 11 Division I signees in Fall 2014, and team members have maintained a 3.0 or better GPA for 18 consecutive semesters.
