Commends and congratulates the Ripley Middle School Tigers Cheerleading Team for winning the 2014 Mississippi High School Activities Association Junior High 1A-3A division state championship, their second consecutive state junior high cheerleading title.

Recognizes sponsor Gidget Barkley for her leadership in refining the team's skills in execution, acrobatics, and dance throughout the competitive season.

Names 16 team members (9 eighth graders and 7 seventh graders) who competed and earned the state championship through preparation beginning in April, including attendance at a cheer camp in Nashville, Tennessee with coaches Raymond and Amy Hoffman.

Acknowledges the Ripley Middle School Pom Squad's fourth-place finish in the Junior High Kick division and the support provided by sponsor Regina Chills and school faculty, staff, parents, and families.

Directs copies of the resolution to be furnished to Ripley Middle School, Sponsor Gidget Barkley, Principal James Storey, and the Capitol Press Corps.
