Recognizes the team's achievement of reaching first place in the AP Poll for the first time in program history and being ranked number one in the inaugural College Football Playoff Poll rankings.

Notes the team's nine-game winning streak and victories over major Southeastern Conference opponents including LSU, Texas A&M, Auburn, Kentucky, and Arkansas.

Acknowledges the team's selection to play Georgia Tech in the Orange Bowl on December 31, 2014, at Sun Life Stadium in Miami, Florida.

Directs that copies of this resolution be provided to the Bulldogs Football Team, Head Coach Dan Mullen, MSU President Mark E. Keenum, the Board of Trustees of State Institutions of Higher Learning, and the Capitol Press Corps.
